On May 20thm 2024, Edward Kingsley-Bernard passed away surrounded by friends and family.


A funeral will be held June 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM EST, he will be entombed next to his wife after the service.

Born the 19th of September, 1925 to ally Markham and Phillip Kingsley-Bernard in London, England, Edward had a comfortable childhood, growing up on the family farm in Birmingham England he partook in many activites such as Pigeon Racing, Horse Racing, and even the occasional hunt. Edward attended the Felsted School when it was in session coming home on the weekend and for holidatys, graduating in 1935. After primary school He attended Windham Hall, Graduating in 1940.

When war broke out in 1941, Edward promptly enlisted for service serving the crown until the end of the war,

In 1948, after the death of his father Phillip, Edward took over the family farm, that same year he took over the family hotel as well.

In 1950, Edward met the love of his life, Janice Wright (died 2022), the two would begin courting and eventually married in 1960. From this marriage came the birth of their children, Marisa in 1968 and Elizabeth in 1970.

The family would go on to spend as much time together as possible, going on many vacations as well as other activities as well.

In 1987, for his work in the education of emmigrants, Edward was awarded the Order of the British Empire.


Edward is survived by his two daughters Marisa and Elizabeth, and his mother markham, he is preceded in death by his father Phillip, and his wife Janice.
